This week marks an important milestone for Idea of the Day... Our 100,000th view on YouTube!
My original goal for IDEAOFTHEDAY.COM was simply to create a daily video blog (vlog), where I could put my ideas out there, and have some fun. It wasn't easy, and I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist, so it took me a while to create anything more than a "Coming Soon" page, which sat there for quite a few years.
As years passed by, as I tinkered with all sorts of camera and other technical gear, I made the decision to launch the site without any videos. After all, it was still an idea site, so I posted a new idea each day for a couple of years until I finally decided it was time to make my videos. That's when things started to really take off.
Once again, it wasn't easy. In addition to writing in my daily blog, I now post an all-new video each and every day, and this week the channel will reach it's 100,000th view on YouTube.
All I can say is THANK YOU to all the people who've taken the time to watch my videos, and I'd like to especially like to thank the hundreds of people who now subscribe to my channel. It means a lot to me.
As I start my second year, I'd like to formally ask my viewers to join in the fun! I'd love to hear from you. Feel free to reach out to me if you have an idea to share at Joe [at] Ideaoftheday.com.
