2 Sided ID Pendants. What Good is a Badge if the Back Shows Half the Time?

Badges? We ain't got no badges... We don't need no stinking badges!
Isn't it strange that some companies make it a point of requiring their staff to wear ID pendants, but they flip upside down half the time? As long as they're going to flip over, they should put the same information on both sides. What good is an ID tag that's blank on the back?
I recently visited a hospital where a parade of nurses, doctors, physical therapists, patient assistants, surgeons, technicians, interns, residents and cleaning staff come and go so fast, you have no idea who's who. Because the badges flipped over so often, most of the time I had no who I was talking to, which made it hard to know the kinds of questions they could answer, and it was even harder referring to them after they left. The best you can do is say "Can you find that guy that looks a bit like Regis Philbin?... I think he's the nurse on duty right now."
Today's idea is very simple. ID Pendants should always be 2-sided.
Isn't this obvious? Why would anyone make a one sided badge, then hang it on a pendant?
