Uber Same Day Delivery. An Army of Drivers Ready to Deliver... ANYTHING!

Remember the first time you got an overnight delivery?
We take it for granted, but when FedEx first started, It was revolutionary.
When they first started, it was pretty expensive, but people didn't mind. Their slogan was "When it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight". They were banking on the fact that people who need a package overnight are willing to pay a premium. They were right. People hate waiting for things, and millions of people started sending packages overnight.
But what if you want something the same day? I think there are a lot of people who are willing to pay a premium to get same day delivery. The trouble is, there aren't enough delivery companies that can handle same day delivery, so same day delivery is limited to local stores and restaurants that have their own delivery people.
Uber has the ability to make same day delivery possible for just about anything.
Unlike traditional delivery companies, which are limited by the size of their fleet, Uber same day delivery could tap into an even bigger army of drivers than their passenger service, because package drivers don't need taxi and limo licenses, as they do in many cities. So just about anyone with spare time and space in their car, van or truck can pick up and deliver packages.
Even large companies like Amazon could tap into this endless fleet of drivers to expedite package delivery.
