Install Windows From OneDrive (Cloud)

There should be a way to install (or re-install) Windows from the cloud.
One of the my favorite things about the Mac is how you can install a brand new hard drive and install the entire system from the cloud. There's no need to find the original CDs, or even a USB drive. The firmware has everything it needs to download and install the entire operating system. All you need is an Internet connection. Why can't Windows do the same thing?
The concept is pretty simple. By adding simple networking to the firmware / BIOS of Windows PCs, even a system with a brand new hard drive should be able to connect to a server to download the Windows Installer that matches whichever version you use.
The main problem for Microsoft is financial. They want to be sure people download the version they paid for.
If you have a Microsoft OneDrive account, it can keep track of the exact version of Windows, along with your serial number and even the license numbers of all your other Windows programs like Office.
Since every CPU has a unique serial number, all the BIOS would have to do is connect to the Internet, submit the unique serial number, and Microsoft could easy determine the Windows serial number and version to re-install.
For first time installations, you could register your Windows Serial number from another computer, then link it to your Microsoft / OneDrive account. After that, your OneDrive ID and password are all the system would need to download and install it from the cloud.
