Think Like a Jedi

Awaken the Force Inside You.
I was 12 years old when the original Star Wars was released in 1977. To say I was an instant fan is an understatement. I was obsessed with it.
Like many people who grew up in that era, the fascination with Star Wars went way beyond simply enjoying the action scenes or the special effects. What attracted me most was the idea of being a "Jedi".
To me, there were 5 kinds of people in the movie:
1. Good Guys.
2. Bad Guys.
3. Really Good Guys.
4. Really Bad Guys.
5. Scoundrels.
The majority of the characters were Good Guys, Bad Guys, and Scoundrels. Most of the Good Guys were Rebels, and most of the bad guys were Stormtroopers, so it was easy to tell them apart.
What made the movie special was that there were only a few "Really Good Guys" and "Really Bad Guys", and that's where "The Force" came in.
The Really Bad Guys used the "Dark Side" of the Force, and they didn't think twice about destroying an entire planet. From the first time you saw Darth Vader, you knew he wasn't just a bad guy, he was clearly a REALY Bad Guy. Heck, he even looked bad.
The REALY Good Guys were the Jedi. They used the "Light Side" of the Force. Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi were the only Jedi, and they were special. In a movie about "Wars", they were the antithesis of war. They were guardians of the galaxy and they never used their powers for anything but peace.
Jedi only carry defensive weapons and they draw all their power from the Universe, by eliminating anger, fear and hate. If we could all eliminate anger, fear and hate, the world would be a better place.
That's pretty powerful. Even if we can't lift objects with our minds, if we could simply eliminate anger, fear, and hate, the world would be a better place. In other words, if we could live like a Jedi, we can change the world.
Awaken the Force within you. Think like a Jedi.
