The Solution to FILTHY Public Restrooms. Idea of the day #245

Do you know WHY most public restrooms STINK?
The simple answer is that people are filthy slobs, the actual answer is actually pretty simple. Even somebody who's NOT a slob can make a mess once in a while, and when they do, they have no way to clean up after themselves.
Think about it. When you use your bathroom at home, and you have a bit of an accident, you can reach under your sink and clean it up within seconds, but when you do the same thing in a public restroom, the only thing you have is toilet paper, and sometimes that's not enough.
By contrast, on a recent visit to a Home Depot in Staten Island, I saw something truly inspirational in the restroom, a can of Lysol and a package of Clorox Sanitizing Wipes. The fact that they put a few simple cleaning products in their restrooms means you are guaranteed you won't sit on a filthy toilet seat.
I realize that some people will still be filthy pigs and make a mess, but more importantly even if that person neglects to clean up after themselves, you can at least clean up BEFORE you use the toilet. See the difference?
I've seen something very similar in Wegmans Supermarkets. They have a simple dispenser in each bathroom stall that you use to spray a mist of sanitizer onto a piece of toilet paper so you can wipe the seat before you sit.
I've seen some stores put sanitizing wipes near the shopping carts so you can wipe the handle, so why not put some form of sanitizer where you REALLY need it?
