Nut Bowls... With a Place For Shells

I like to eat nuts that are in their shells, but I hate looking for a place to put the shells.
It doesn't matter if I'm sitting at home, at my desk or in my car. There never seems to be a place to put the shells. Think about it. if you have a party, and you put out a tray of pistachios, walnuts, or whole peanuts, what are you and your guests going to do with all those shells.
Go into a housewares store and look at all the different types of dishes and bowls. What you don't see is a little bowl with two side by side sections specifically for people to serve nuts and discard the shells. I think that the time has come for such a product to become a reality. I'll say this much, if such a bowl existed, I'd buy one and once again that means there are others like me who would do likewise.
For travel, I'd love to see a Rubbermaid style container with two sides and one lid, so you can bring a fistful of pistachios or peanuts with you in the car. Another portable idea would be to have a second cup for the cup holder that has a lid with a slot large enough to put a shell into.
An even easier idea for travel would be for nut companies to sell individual sized bags in places like 7-Eleven, with a little bag inside the bag to store the shells. That alone would sell a lot more pistachios.
Yes, I know they sell peanuts, walnuts and pistachios without shells. Do you want to know why? Among other things, it's because people don't have a place for the shells. That's exactly my point. Removing the shell is not the ONLY solution. So, if you are one of those people who enjoy cracking open a nut, having a bowl with a place for the shells makes a lot of sense.
