Why Are There No Sportscaster Interventions?

We get it. Umpires and referees are the final word. But what if they are clearly wrong?
When Instant Replay came along, Sportscasters and TV viewers suddenly had the power to not only get a second look at a controversial play, but see it played out in slow motion... from 6 different angles.
As technology improved, and the quality of the replays has improved, some sports now have rules that allow a team to request a video review. The trouble with the system is they created a ton of complicated rules that often result in a play not being reviewed.
Among other things, the coach has to request the review before the next snap, which sounds pretty simple, but if he does this every time he thinks there's a chance a bad call was made, he risks losing time on the clock if he's wrong, which happens 2 out of three times. Most of the time, the coach makes the decision to challenge the call without even seeing the replay, so they often decide not to challenge the play.
The bottom line is that the coaches have very little time to make the decision, and once the decision is made, the referee has only 60 seconds to review the play.
Since Sportscasters and TV crews have first access to replay footage, they are clearly the first ones to know when they spot a bad call.
It seems to me that when they spot a clearly bad call, instead of just talking about how bad the call was, they should have a way to at least call for an official review if the coaches don't do it first.
It's not important that they eliminate the old rules, but simply add the ability for the networks to step in when there is clear evidence that a bad call was made.
Some may argue that technology undermines the integrity of the game by taking the human element away from umpires and referees. I don't think that's the case. It just gives them a better view. They still make the final call. It just gives them a better view.
