The Windows Logo Key is Annoying.

The most annoying thing about Windows PCs is the stupid Windows Key.
When Microsoft introduced Windows 95, new PCs started to ship with a brand new key... The "Windows Logo Key". A dedicated key just to get the Windows Start Menu to pop up.
At first, I thought to myself, what a cool idea! Instead of moving your mouse to the left corner, you just hit the Windows Logo and the menu opens... But then again, you didn't save any time, because you still need to move your mouse to the corner to pick from the menu... so what's the point?
I wouldn't complain if it was just useless, but when you hit the key accidentally, your cursor moves from the window you were working on and the menu to launch programs pops up.
With some programs, it's beyond annoying. To many people, the only solution is to literally rip that key from the keyboard.
When you think of it, you don't need to launch programs that often, so why would you want to trigger the launch menu with just one key? Is it that hard to aim your mouse to the corner of the screen?
Not only is the key too close to frequently hit keys, but some brands use different locations on the bottom row, making it even more likely you'll hit it by mistake.
Just like the Windows Logo Key, Apple has their "Command Key" in that location. While it's seldom used, at least when you hit it by mistake, nothing happens. So, the point here is if Microsoft is planning on keeping the Windows Logo Key, perhaps it should be moved someplace out of the way, or require shift or some other key to trigger the menu.
