Amazon Echo Should Actually... ECHO. Get Answers In Your Own Voice.

You can ask the Amazon Echo just about anything, and it gets the answer from the cloud. But what if you wanted to ask it something a bit more personal?
I love the concept behind the Amazon Echo. Among other things, it's a wireless speaker, a personal assistant, and an Internet search engine, but I think it can do a lot more. Since it has several high quality microphones, it stands to reason that those microphones should be able to capture your own voice, and play it back later, like a voice recorder, only better.
Unlike a traditional voice recorder, the Amazon Echo should be able to store your recordings in the cloud, then transcribe and index whatever you said, so you can find it later. Like all Amazon Echo commands, all you need to do is start each recording with the wake keyword, which is normally "Alexa".
For example, if you said "Alexa, my lawnmower is a Sears Craftsmen model 3789", or "Alexa, my brother wears size 9 shoes". It should be able to not only transcribe those keywords in the cloud, but "echo" back my own voice whenever I asked about my lawnmower or my brother's shoe size.
So you can say "Alexa, what's my brother's shoe size", and it would play back your original recording.
In a nutshell, the Amazon Echo should be able to record your commands, index them, and then play them back... in your own voice, when asked. That's a REAL Echo!
Unlike Siri and Cortana which create notes and reminders using unreliable voice recognition, Echo should be able to play back your original recordings, so you can clearly understand what you originally dictated. Because it's cloud based, it can store and index thousands of voice memos, which should be accessible from the Echo, the web, or via the Echo App on your mobile device.
