Receipts In The Cloud, Linked to Loyalty Cards.

I hate looking for my receipts!
Today's inspiration came from two places, PetSmart, and Neat Receipts.
PetSmart recently started offering customers the option to get an emailed receipt. This is not only a way to save paper, but a great way to archive your receipts. It's pretty simple. Since they already have your email address, they send your receipt as a PDF.
Neat Receipts is a service that lets you scan your receipts into the cloud, then run reports you can use to track expenses.
Wouldn't it be great if you could access ALL of your receipts from every store you visit, without scanning?
There's room for a company like DropBox, or Neat Receipts to provide a service that lets merchants link their customer loyalty cards to a cloud based receipt archive. Unlike emailing the receipts, a service like this could provide a searchable index of every receipt under one place, including the ability to create reports, just like Neat Receipts.
This can work two different ways. One way is to create an independent "Receipt Card" that links to your receipt account. By handing the card to a participating retailer, they can send a searchable receipt to your account.
The second approach would be to create a service that works behind the scenes, allowing merchants to link the service to their existing loyalty cards.
