If you've ever been unable to post comments on YouTube because of the error message "Comment Failed to Post", this is what to do.
There's a bug in YouTube that pops up every now and then that prevents people from posting comments. Although it will let you type in your comment, you can't post it. All you see is a little red sentence that says "Comment Failed to Post.". It doesn't tell you why, or offer any help whatsoever.
The first few times I saw the message, I just gave up and tried again later and it worked, so I just assumed it was a connection problem. As the message kept coming up I decided to do some research and all I could find were a bunch of videos from frustrated people who were just as confused as me, and in some cases they assumed they were being censored because of their controversial content.
After some trial and error, I came up with a solution. It's not a connection problem, and it's definitely not censorship. It's just a bug that affects anyone who has multiple Google and / or YouTube accounts.
The message is shown whenever Google can't figure out which of your accounts is trying to post the comment.
The solution is to use the icon at the top right side of the page to select another account, then select then go back again and select the one you intend to use. From that point on, it will work, until you log out again.
