Putting My Foot Down... On Dirty Toilets!

Nobody likes to touch a dirty toilet seat.
One of the most disgusting things about using a public restroom is having to touch the toilet seat with your bare hands.
Of course, some people lift it with their foot.. but that only leads to dirty shoes. Other people like to grab it with toilet paper, but that's a waste of paper.
My solution is pretty simple. Why don't they make a foot pedal you can use to lift it, just like a garbage can?
