Even if there are only a small number of women with the skills and stature needed to compete with men in those sports... why not let them? I've seen WNBA players that are at least as strong and skilled as some male players, but they aren't allowed to compete with them. Many (male) NFL quarterbacks aren't particularly large, but that never stopped them from playing. The same is true for a lot of sports.
The key point is making sports gender neutral. Anyone should be allowed to compete if they prove they're good for the team. In some sports, there will be very few (if any) women who meet this criteria, but at least they'll have the opportunity if they can.
